All is well in the world of Luke Usry, actually, it is really quite impossible for everything to be well, but as a whole things are looking on the upside. Thanks for the comments, I lost my internet yesterday so I couldn't update.  Anyway I am considering starting a new sit, and thus, discontinuing this one...any good ideas? Much love to everyone, and in light to recent unspoken events, here's one of my foavorite songs of all time:

There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
And when she gets there she knows if the stores are closed
With a word she can get what she came for

And she's buying a stairway to heaven

There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure
And you know sometimes words have two meanings
In the tree by the brook there's a songbird who sings
Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven

And she's buying a stairway to heaven

There's a feeling I get when I look to the west
And my spirit is crying for leaving
In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees
And the voices of those who stand looking

And she's buying a stairway to heaven

And it's whispered that soon, if we all call the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason
And a new day will dawn for those who stand long
And the forest will echo with laughter

And it makes me wonder

If there's a bustle in your hedgerow
Don't be alarmed now
It's just a spring clean for the May Queen

Yes there are two paths you can go by
but in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on

Your head is humming and it won't go because you don't know
The piper's calling you to join him
Dear lady can't you hear the wind blow and did you know
Your stairway lies on the whispering wind

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our souls
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last
When all are one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll
And she's buying a stairway to heaven

There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
And when she gets there she knows if the stores are closed
With a word she can get what she came for

And she's buying a stairway to heaven,

A storm is brewing...and I am somehow excited even is the face of such crisis...maybe it's the smell of rain, or the way it sounds and it pelts the earth around me. Maybe the way the street outside looks after the night-long onslought...it almost looks tired, but in a strange way victorious. It almost seems like the air itself says: Ha! screw you Frances! (Ivan shortly) we made it through! The power outage is bad for the spoiling of food and the loss of computer access and that's about it. I would just as soon read by candlelight than watch television with the flourescents on. My cd player has batteries, so BRING IT ON!!!! As long as a tree doesn't decide to retire into my house that is...I'll be just fine...

It has become evident to me through several sources that some individuals took my last post a little more seriously than it was intended to be taked. I would just like to remind everyone that that was a mere joke and I meant nothing by it. Thank you for your cooperation

Not much to say...I worked all day and that's about it, oh and I rented Kill Bill. I had to get up at seven forty this morning after going to bed at about one, so as you may suspect, I am very tired. I may just lock my door so my parents can't wake me up for church tomorrow so I can sleep (yeah I'm going to hell) Their persistent pounding and harsh words would keep me from sleep too, not to mention how pissed they would be when they finally rammed their way in. Maybe they would just wait until I ran out of the food I've been squirreling away. I guess I'd have to come out eventually. Maybe I'll jsut sleep through the service, but don't tell anyone...I'm jsut going to look like I'm praying...as I said..I'm going ot hell...

Sorry about the lack of updating, but we just got our interenet back up. THat storm was very destructive. As I was going to sleep on Monday night I was thinking about how soothing the rain was, but then, when it started slapping loundly against my window (which is under a porch) I realized that it was starting to become not-so-soothing well I'm glad to finally have my precious interenet back and I hope everyone is safe even through the storm. OH, and the eighth was my birthday, so all you Peach County people, I hope you enjoyed your day off. You can thank me fo that. It was my birthday present from God. later,
